eSIM for the USA

Online the moment you land in
United States — coast to coast

The US is notorious for sky-high roaming charges from Belgian and Dutch providers. Buy your data plan online, get a QR code by email, and switch it on as soon as you land at JFK, LAX, or Miami. No SIM card counter to hunt down, no surprises on your bill.

  • No physical SIM card needed
  • QR code straight to your inbox
  • 4G & 5G on AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon
  • Works alongside your Belgian or Dutch number

Smarter travel across America starts here

Whether you're road-tripping for three weeks from New York to Las Vegas, planning a family getaway to the theme parks of Orlando, or flying to San Francisco for business — an eSIM saves you from the US's notorious roaming rates.

  • Escape expensive roaming

Data roaming in the US through your Belgian or Dutch provider can cost tens of euros a day. With a local eSIM plan from Ariya, you pay a fixed, predictable amount up front.

  • Built for road trips

Driving from the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas, or from Miami to Orlando? AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon together cover most highways — though, as with any carrier, coverage can vary in remote desert or park areas.

  • Perfect for a family trip to Orlando

Navigate between the parks, share photos back home, check restaurant reservations — all without burning through your data plan at roaming rates.

  • Everything set up digitally

No waiting in line at a SIM counter in the arrivals hall at JFK or LAX. Your eSIM profile is on your phone within a minute — before you're even out of the gate.

  • Your own number stays active

The eSIM works alongside your existing SIM card. Family in Belgium or the Netherlands can still call and text you on your usual number, while you use data on the US eSIM.

  • Start whenever you want

Install it at home before you leave, activate it when you land in New York, Miami, or wherever you touch down. The plan only starts once activated — not at the moment of purchase.

Connected in America in 3 steps

No technical knowledge required. From purchase to an active connection at JFK, LAX, or Miami International takes about fifteen minutes.

  1. 1

    Choose your data plan

Go to Ariya Mobile's USA page, pick a plan that matches your trip — a week in NYC or a month-long road trip — and pay securely online.

Tip: navigation eats up more data than you'd think on a long road trip. Better to go a bit bigger than too tight.

  2. 2

    Get your QR code

Right after purchase you'll receive a QR code by email and in your Ariya account. Scan it in your device's eSIM settings — it takes about a minute.

Tip: install the eSIM at home over your own wifi before you leave. It's a hassle to do on a transatlantic flight or in the arrivals hall.

  3. 3

    Activate on arrival

As soon as you've landed in the US — at JFK, LAX, Miami, or any other airport — switch on data roaming for the eSIM. You're instantly online for Maps, Uber, and your hotel booking.

Tip: set the eSIM up as your 'data' line, not for calls. That way family can still call and text you on your regular number while you have data.

Connected from New York to San Francisco

Ariya's USA eSIM connects to AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon — the three biggest US networks — for wide coverage in cities and along the major routes.

Supported networks

  • AT&T 4G / 5G
  • T-Mobile 4G / 5G
  • Verizon 4G / 5G

Cities with strong coverage

  • New York
  • Los Angeles
  • Miami
  • Las Vegas
  • San Francisco
  • Orlando
Road trips and remote areas: in and around major cities and along the interstates, coverage is generally excellent. In national parks, desert areas, or between smaller towns on long stretches, the signal can be weaker or drop out temporarily — this applies to every US carrier, not just an eSIM.

A plan for every American trip

  • Choose between shorter and longer plans
  • Your plan only starts once activated in the US

Everything you want to know about your USA eSIM

What is an eSIM and how is it different from a regular SIM card?
An eSIM is a built-in digital SIM card. Instead of a physical plastic card, you download the SIM profile straight onto your device via a QR code. Your current SIM card stays right where it is — the eSIM works alongside it.
Which networks does Ariya's USA eSIM use?
Your eSIM connects to the largest US operators: AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. All three offer 4G and increasingly 5G coverage in major cities and along the main highways.
Is my European phone even compatible with US 5G frequencies?
Most recent European smartphones (iPhone 12 and newer, recent Samsung and Google devices) support the key US 5G and 4G bands. If your phone already works with 4G/LTE roaming in Europe, it will almost always work with a local US eSIM too — the device automatically switches to whatever network is available.
Does my phone support eSIM at all?
Most recent smartphones support eSIM: iPhone XS (2018) and newer, Samsung Galaxy S21 and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer. Go to Settings > Cellular and look for "Add eSIM." Not sure? Check our FAQ page.
When should I install and activate the eSIM?
Install: do this at home over wifi before you leave, well ahead of your transatlantic flight. Scan the QR code, follow the steps in your settings — done.
Activate: turn on data roaming for the eSIM line as soon as you land in the US. That way your plan only really starts once you're using it.
Do I keep my Belgian or Dutch phone number?
Yes, absolutely. The USA eSIM is a separate data line alongside your existing SIM card. Your Belgian or Dutch number stays active. Family and friends can still call and text you on your usual number, while you use data from the eSIM for Maps, Uber, and WhatsApp.
Is coverage equally good everywhere on a road trip?
Honestly, not always. Around and between major cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, 4G/5G coverage is excellent. On long, remote stretches through desert areas or national parks, the signal can be weaker or drop out temporarily — that's true of every US carrier, so plan to have offline navigation as a backup where possible.
Can I use my eSIM as a hotspot to connect my laptop?
Yes, hotspot and tethering functionality works with most eSIM plans unless stated otherwise for the plan you chose. Handy if you want to work from a laptop on the road or connect a second device — just keep an eye on your data plan, tethering uses data faster.
How long is my data plan valid for?
The validity period depends on the plan you choose — day plans, week plans, and month plans. The counter only starts once you switch on data roaming in the US, not at the moment of purchase, so you don't waste any data during the flight.
What if I run into technical problems with my eSIM?
Our support team is quick to help via ariya-mobile.eu/contact. The most common causes: roaming is turned off, or the eSIM isn't set as the 'data' line. Our FAQ page has step-by-step solutions.
